Photo Diary: Shanghai Lights

November 7, 2015

Shanghai. As a foreigner, you could probably spend a lifetime in Shanghai and never scratch the surface with what this amazing city has to offer. I only had 3 days. But in those 3 days, it was an amazing and surreal experience.

To begin with, I never imagined myself visiting Shanghai even though it was a city always on my bucket list. Shanghai, like Tokyo, was always an unreachable place to me growing up. I also never expected myself to fall in love as fast as I did. Shanghai has everything a city needs in my opinion: Good shopping, great food, a convenient and fast metro system, a fun nightlife, and nice people!

The best part during my short stay in Shanghai, not including the bomb ass food, was being able to use my little bit of Chinese language skills when shopping by myself. I was able to talk to sales associates, try on clothes, and buy things all speaking Chinese :D.
